What an Enrichment Day Looks Like
Booking & Planning Call (1-2 weeks out)
We confirm headcount, age groups, timing around naps/meals, and any space or power needs. You get a written confirmation, our insurance/W-9 packet, and a clear per-child price — no surprises later.
Arrival & Setup (20-30 minutes)
The Teddy Bear Mobile – Hill Country team arrives, sets up entirely on your property, and works around your existing schedule — no need to gather kids early or disrupt the morning routine. All we need is a bit of space and a standard 110v power outlet to plug into.
The Enrichment Activity
Small groups rotate through at a pace your staff controls — every child picks, stuffs, and personalizes their own animal, with our team guiding each step. Shy or hesitant kids get extra time and encouragement, never rushed.
Wrap-Up & Take-Home
Each child leaves with their finished animal, birth certificate, and wishing star. We handle full cleanup before we go — your center looks exactly like it did before we arrived.

How much does it cost, and who pays — us or the parents?
Pricing is per animal on a volume scale (the more children, the lower the per-animal rate), plus one flat setup/travel fee, plus tax — the full numbers and an instant quote are on our pricing page. Some centers fold it into their enrichment or activity budget; others invite parents to cover their own child’s animal. Both work, and we’ll help you land on what fits your center.
Do we have to commit to a contract, or can we try it once first?
You can absolutely start with a single visit to see how your families respond. Becoming an Enrichment Partner — a standing quarterly or seasonal slot — just locks in a lower rate and protects your dates. It’s an option, never a requirement. Try one, then decide.
Are your team members safe and experienced around young children?
Yes. Our team is trained and experienced — we’ve run 100+ in-center visits since 2022 — and we carry general liability insurance (Certificate of Insurance available on request). Just as important, your own teachers stay with their groups the entire time, so children are always with familiar, trusted adults.
How do you handle supervision and staff ratios?
Our team runs the activity station-by-station in small groups, so your existing staff stay with their assigned children at your normal ratios the whole time — we add hands, we don’t change your supervision plan.
Is it safe for toddlers — choking hazards, allergies, materials?
Our materials and process are the same ones we’ve used for 100+ visits, run by trained staff, with no small detachable parts during the stuffing itself. Tell us about any allergies or sensitivities on the planning call and we’ll accommodate. For younger toddlers, our team and yours help hands-on so nothing goes where it shouldn’t.
Is this actually educational, or just a craft?
It’s real enrichment. Every visit’s animals come with a ready-to-lead lesson — learning goals, a circle-time intro, vocabulary words, a song and movement break, and a wrap-up — matched to the theme (dinosaurs, farm, ocean, safari, plus holiday themes). Will it disrupt our nap and meal schedule or take over the whole day?
No. We work around your routine, not against it. Small groups rotate through at a pace your staff controls, and we schedule around naps and meals. Setup and cleanup are on us — your day keeps its rhythm.
Will it make a mess in our classrooms?
We handle full cleanup before we leave — your center looks exactly like it did before we arrived. Tidy setup, tidy teardown, every time.
How often do you come, and how does the recurring schedule work?
As often as you like. Most partners do a standing slot each quarter (four themed visits a year), but monthly or seasonal cadences work too. You pick the rhythm; we protect your dates on our calendar so you’re not re-booking from scratch each time.
What if we need to reschedule?
Life happens — we’ll work with you to move your date, and weather reschedules are always no-penalty, subject to availability.
Does every child get to participate and take one home?
Yes — every child picks, stuffs, and personalizes their own animal and takes it home with a birth certificate and wishing star. Shy or hesitant kids get extra time and encouragement. No child is left out.
Is there a minimum or maximum group size?
We’ve run everything from a single classroom to a full-center day with hundreds of kids — we bring two machines and extra staff for larger groups, so size isn’t usually the limiting factor. (There’s a 35-animal minimum per visit.)
What happens if it’s raining or too hot/cold?
We set up indoors or under cover whenever your facility allows — most of our equipment works fine in a classroom, gym, or covered outdoor area. We’ll talk through your space on the planning call so there’s no day-of surprise.
How does billing/invoicing work — do you take a PO?
Yes — we can invoice your center directly and work with whatever purchase order or approval process your organization needs. We’ll also send a W-9 and Certificate of Insurance on request, so booking us never gets stuck in your office’s approval process.
Can parents and families be involved?
Both work — plenty of centers keep it a classroom surprise, and others invite parents for a pickup-time reveal. We can send home a flyer ahead of time so families know what’s coming, and it’s a great one for the center’s social media.
