Teddy Bear Mobile – St. Charles County is owned and operated by Carla and John Klaskin. They live in Wentzville, Missouri and have 6 children and 5 grandbabies. Carla is on the Board of Directors of The Child Center CAC, Cottleville Firefighters Outreach, the O’Fallon Chamber of Commerce and Industries and VISION St. Charles County Leadership. John is a life insurance agent, musician, writer and handyman and is passionate about leaving people better than he found them, whether that is through helping create a life insurance plan to protect their family, sharing Christ through music and writing or helping make their homes more beautiful. Carla and John are very involved in serving their local communities and love giving back through their time, talents and resources. If they are not already supporting a charity through a Teddy Bear Mobile – St. Charles County event, their heart is to return a percentage of sales back to the vendors charity of choice or to charities that specifically benefit victims of child abuse and trafficking. Carla and John would love to make your birthdays, festivals or fundraisers a BEARY special event and partner with you in making our communities the best places to live
TEDDY BEAR MOBILE’S STORY
Teddy Bear Mobile didn’t start as a business; it was a way of giving back to the community (and, of course, making kids smile). Our goal was to bring joy to impoverished children and those undergoing treatment of serious illnesses. Over the last decade, we’ve donated thousands of animals, and our mission continues.
At one of our charity events, a mother asked if we could host an at-home stuffing party for her daughter’s birthday. She was tired of the same party, year after year, and we were happy to take the fun of animal stuffing on the road.
The party was a success, and word started spreading. Teddy Bear Mobile quickly expanded into mobile entertainment for parties, events, and fundraisers, and the new revenue allowed us to expand our charitable giving.
As Teddy Bear Mobile continued to grow, we realized giving back and bringing smiles to children’s faces should not be confined to one town. With careful planning, the Teddy Bear Mobile training methodology was born.
A decade has been spent sourcing, scouring, and engineering the best possible products and hardware for our Stuffers and clients. Teddy Bear Mobile is the nation’s only training program for large scale stuffing events and a world class equipment supplier.
